Care Partners

As a Medicare Advantage member we want you to receive the best care possible. To make sure you have access to needed care BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has partnered with the following organizations that you may be eligible to receive based on your individual health needs. 

All of these activities are included in your Medicare Advantage membership and you can feel comfortable working with these care partners. 

Home Testing Kit

You may receive a home testing kit in the mail from LetsGetChecked for colorectal cancer screening, diabetes A1C or kidney testing. Please complete the test at home and promptly return it by mail at no cost to you. 

Quality Nurse

A quality nurse may call you after you leave the hospital to discuss your medications and share helpful information about available services for your individual health needs. 

Periodically you may receive communication from a BlueCross representative offering reminders for preventive health services or to ask for your feedback on a satisfaction survey. The purpose of this outreach is to make sure you have a great health experience and ensure you have access to all needed care. 

In-Home Health Assessments

A representative from Signify Health or Doctors Care may call you to schedule a no-cost visit in the comfort of your own home. The clinician will check your blood pressure, review medications and evaluate your overall health status. The results will be shared with you and your primary care provider. 

Signify Health and Doctors Care are independent companies that administers in-home health evaluations on behalf of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. 

The Helper Bees

We are excited to introduce a new partner in your health and wellness journey: The Helper Bees!

The Helper Bees is an independent company that provides an in-home care platform for older adults on behalf of BlueCross. It enables older Americans to age in place and live comfortably. 

All PPO and HMO members have access to digital literacy help. We want to make sure that technology is not a burden or a barrier to your health goals, especially with care options such as telehealth. Reach out to the Medicare Advantage customer service team at 1-855-204-2744 TTY: 711 if you need assistance in creating an email, using the internet or getting technical support for digital devices.

PPO Members

  • There is a dedicated support line for PPO members and caregivers to help navigate the challenging world of health care, find community resources,
    receive answers to questions and other support services. Call 1-888-341-6084 to be connected to The Helper Bees support team.
  • PPO Members have up to 20 hours companionship through phone or video conference, offering personalized conversations, entertainment and interactive games. 

HMO Members

  • HMO members have 100 credits to use toward certain services. You can earn an additional 50 credits by completing your annual wellness visit this year. Once we receive the claim from your doctor, the additional credits will be added to your digital account. Use credits toward these services:
    • In-home support for homemaker-type help
    • Errands
    • Home and bathroom safety, such as handyman services or pest control

Maximize Health Coverage and Cost Savings

BlueCross works with BeneLynkTM to help our Medicare Advantage members maximize health coverage and cost savings. You may be receiving a letter and phone call from a BlueCross representative to evaluate your potential cost savings. If you would like to call BeneLynk directly to learn more about these cost savings, you can call toll free at 1-877-804-0630 (TTY:711).

BeneLynk is an independent company that provides member experience and health savings assistance on behalf of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. 


ExactCare is a virtual pharmacy that can help you better organize your medications, deliver them to your home and work with your doctors to manage refills. This resource for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Medicare Advantage members is a great resource if you are having difficulty managing your medications. 

ExactCare is an independent company that provides pharmaceutical services on behalf of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. 

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is a Medicare Advantage PPO and HMO plan with a Medicare contract. BlueCross Essential, Rx Value and BlueCross Rx Plus are stand-alone prescription drug plans with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in BlueCross Total, BlueCross Total Value, BlueCross Blue Basic, BlueCross Secure, BlueCross Essential, BlueCross Rx Value or BlueCross Rx Plus depends on contract renewal.
